Byron Farrar

Byron Farrar began his musical studies at the age of 3, growing up in a musical family tied to the Suzuki world. He holds cello performance degrees from the University of Louisville, University of Southern Illinois Carbondale and is currently working on his DMA from the University of Alabama. He has performed with many regional symphonies across the South and Midwest and worked at a number of summer music festivals including Southern Illinois Music Festival and Interlochen. He has Suzuki training and is comfortable teaching anyone of any age 4 or above. He lives in Omaha with his partner, dog, cat and menagerie of reptiles.
